Memorial services for Robert Eugene Schott of Simmesport will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Thursday, December 23, 2010, beginning at 11:00am, with Bro. William Rogers officiating. Visitations will also be held at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service, beginning at 9:00am. Interment will commence at the Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary on Saturday, January 22, 2011.
Robert Schott, age 74, passed at the Dubuis Hospital of Alexandria on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Mary Hrisko Schott eleven brothers and sisters stepgrandson, Michael Moreau. He is survived by his wife, Faye W. Schott of Simmesport son, Robert Schott of Galesburg, IL daughters, Cheryl Roundtree of Leesville, Anita Davis of Leesville stepsons, Kerry Moreau of Mansura, David Moreau of Petal, MS, Rickey Moreau of Simmesport, Brad Moreau of Baton Rouge brothers, George Schott, Stephen Schott, both of Monroe, NY sister, Alice Andreko of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, six greatgrandchildren, four stepgreatgrandchildren.
Services and memorial arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
