Funeral services for Roberta Marie Wesley of Marksville will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 beginning at 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Moreauville. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm at the Escud Funeral Home in Moreauville and will reopen Tuesday morning at 8am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.

Roberta Marie Wesley, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Grace Home in Alexandria. She was a loving mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and auntie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon, Sr. Mary Alexander her husband John Wesley her brothers: Richard Alexander, Carlton Alexander, Joseph Alexander and Simon Alexander, Jr. her sisters: Lucille Dupar, Mabel Lee, and Doris Duper.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Willie Johanna Wesley of Pineville her grandchildren: Myesha Wesley of Virginia, Brittany Wesley of Pineville, Raphael Wesley of Pineville, and Michael Wesley of Virginia. She is also survived by four greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Walter L. Duper, Jr., Alexander C. Duper, SiFrieud S. Duper, Mark S. Duper, Randy Johnson, and Kenneth Boykin.
