Graveside service for Rodney Paul Armand of Mansura will begin at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Mary’s No. 2 Cemetery in Cottonport with Fr. John Wiltse officiating.

Rodney Armand, age 79, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Riviere de Soleil Community Center in Mansura.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Rosemary Foster (Johnny), Sadie Normand, Ruth Trahan (Tom), Christine Armand (Aubrey Madewell), & JoAnne Tyler (Murl); brother, Earl Armand (Dorothy); step-children, Ricky Lachney, Jackie Lachney, Bob Dupuy (Kay), Raymond Dupuy (Roxiann), Karl Dupuy (Collin), and Carol Guillot (Jessie). He is also survived by numerous other step-granchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ogden Joseph Armand & Cecile Prevot Armand; 1st wife, Acrena; 2nd wife, Lola; brothers, Daniel Armand, Bobby Armand, Billy Armand, Ray Armand; stepson, Randy Lachney.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 1:45pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport.
