Rogers Gauthier

Rogers Gauthier, age 71, of Mansura died in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria on June 13, 2007. Services will be held at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Mansura on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. Father Chad Partain will officiate. Burial will be in St. Josephs Masoleum, Marksville under the direction of Escude' Funerl Home. Mr. Gauthier was a retired barber and owner of Rogers Barber Shop in Pineville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is a member of American Legion Post 130 of Marksville and VFW of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by father, Lamar Gauthier; mother, Della Ducote Gauthier; daughter Allison Gauthier. Survivors include his wife Joyce Gaspard Gauthier of Mansura; son, Brent Gauthier of Moreauville; brother, Fred Gauthier of Holden; three sisters, Greta Desselle of Chalmette, Sister Pat Gauthier of Lafayette; Sandra Franks of Echo; three grandsons, Brent Gauthier, Jr.; Thomas Gauthier; and Charles Gauthier. Visitations will be at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A RosaryWake service will be on June 14 at 6 p.m. and re-open the following day at 7:30 a.m.
