Funeral services for Roman Barr, Sr. of Plaucheville will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, August 4, 2016 beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will also be held that morning at the church from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
Roman Barr, Sr., age 72, passed away at his home on the morning of Saturday, July 30, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Barr; and parents, Wilford & Mary Lou Charrier Barr. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Wayne Barr (Nancy) of Gonzales, Kirk Barr (Kathlean) of Plaucheville, Roman Barr, Jr. (Michelle) of Bodoc, Scott Barr (Charlotte) of Effie, Travis Barr of Hessmer, & Clint Barr (Amber) of Plaucheville; sisters, Vilmis Dufour (Dewey) of Bodoc, Maxine Corso (Sal) of Kenner, & Linda Guyton (Paul) of Metairie. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
