Roman Johnson

Roman Roy Johnson, "B-Bean", was born on June 28, 1924. He was Baptized at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on August 17, 1924. He was born to the union of the late Simon, Sr. and Virgie Johnson.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Mae Hill on December 14, 1952. To this union 3 children were born. We were blessed to have had him with us for the past 90 years.
On Sunday, January 18, 2015 he was called home by the Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mae; his parents, Simon, Sr. and Virgie, his daughter, Veronica; and his brothers, Simon, Jr., Vernon, Sr., Sterling, Sr., and Charles.
He was a devoted husband and father who worked as a brick layer and always looked out for the interest of his children and grandchildren. Roman leaves to hold his memories: two daughters, Philomena Antoine and Carolyn Bonton (Raley Keith), both of Moreauville; two sisters, Elaine Johnson and Hattie Blackman, both of Moreauville; one brother-in-law, Richard Hill of Moreauville; three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson, Josephine Stevenson, and Catherine Hill, all of Moreauville; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, good friends, & other relatives.
