Ronald Bordelon

Funeral services for Ronald Bordelon will be held on Friday, September 21st, 2018 beginning at 11:00am in the Assembly of God Church in Mansura with Pastor Richard Newman officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 20th, 2018 beginning at 2:00pm until 9:00pm also at the Assembly of God Church in Mansura and will resume on Friday morning at 8:00am until time of service. Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Mansura.
Mr. Bordelon, 74 and a resident of Mansura passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 in Oak Mont Estates assisted living. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hersey Bordelon & Neddie Laborde Bordelon.
Ronald (Ron Paul) James Bordelon served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Air Force. After the war he was a welder and a welding instructor. After Accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he attended Christ for the Nations Bible College and after 2 years he transferred to the Jimmy Swaggart Bible College where he was given an opportunity to do what his heart had desired for quite time. He was given an opportunity to smuggle Bibles into China. After about 10 years of ministering to the Chinese people he fell ill and eventually returned to Mansura to care of his aging parents. He became a member of New Life Assembly of God early on and remained a faithful member till he "Went Home" to be with his Lord.
