Ronald Valois

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 11:00am for Ronald Valois, age 71, who passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at The Church of the Little Flower Cemetery in Evergreen.
Ronald was a native of Moreauville but lived most of his adult life in Bunkie. He moved to be near his daughter in Marksville after his wifes passing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Loraine Turner Valois parents, Forest Pearl Coincon Valois of Moreauville his brothers sisters, Earl Valois, Murray Valois, Eliose Mitchell, Clara Grimes. He is survived by his children, David Cohran and wife Laura of Pineville, Theresa Cohran Greer of Alexandria, Ronda Valois Lachney and husband Shawn of Marksville granddaughters, Britney, Kayleigh, Kristen, Ansley and one greatgranddaughter, Kodi. He also leaves behind his baby dog and companion, Lucy.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Lachney, Jeremy Andes, Glenn Grimes, Kenneth Grimes, Karl Doucet, H.J. Lachney, Stacy Hair, and Russell Clark.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
