Visitation for Roosevelt “Ham” Sampson, Jr. of Mansura will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home of Mansrua. Burial will follow at St. Paul the Apostle Cemetery in Mansura. 

Roosevelt “Ham” Sampson, Jr., age 82, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Mary Nell Francisco; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt Sampson, Sr. and Elnora Titus Sampson; and his sisters, Hazel Prevost, Catherine Carmouche, Rose Mary Turner, Eugene Francisco, and Betty McGee.
