Rose Duplechin

Funeral services for Rose Mary Duplechin of Cottonport will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Sunday, November 27, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm with Father George Krosfield officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport prior to the funeral service, from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
Rose Duplechin, age 82, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home of Simmesport on Thursday, November 24, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Rose Tassin. She is survived by her husband, Albert Duplechin, Jr. of Cottonport daughters, Adele Anderson husband, Don of Simmesport, Susan Rabalais husband, Craig of Cottonport, Annette Canal husband, Carlo of Cottonport, Sandra Dubea husband, Keremon of Marksville sons, Ray Dupuis wife, Cindy of Cottonport, Billy Duplechin wife, Melissa. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty greatgrandchildren, two grand puppies.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
