Funeral services for Rose Nell Gauthier of Bunkie will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Wednesday, August 31 ^st , 2022 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.

Rose Gauthier, age 90, passed away at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home of Bunkie on Friday, August 26 ^th , 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jamayne Mahl of Bunkie; sister, Elaine Ducote of Bunkie; and her daughter, Bonnie Collins. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John Mahl (Jessica), Heidi Galland, Charles Ortego (Danielle), and Angie Grace (Cory); great-grandchildren, Griffen Mahl, Colin Galland, Cadence Galland, Cambree Mahl, Timothy Ortego, Abigail Ortego, and Korbyn Grace; step-great-grandchildren, Lani Trosclair and Alexa Trosclair.

She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Ortego; husband, Zowin Gauthier; and parents, George & Curry Ducote.

Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Wednesday, August 31 ^st , 2022 beginning at 8:00am until time of services.
