Rose Reason

Rose M. Reason of Moreauville will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 beginning at 11am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Rexmere with Fr. Ramji Shoury officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 beginning at 5pm until 10pm with rosary prayer at 7:30pm at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 8am. Burial will commence at the St. Michael's Cemetery in Rexmere. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Rose M. Reason, age 79, passed away on September 1, 2016 at The Grace Home in Alexandria. Rose was an enduring person & fought until the end. Her love could be described as a firm one, but gentle and kind. She loved dearly her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Bingo and games at the casino were some of her favorite pass times. She will be missed dearly by friends & family.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Winston & Verdis Brouillette; husband of 59 years, Alfred "Fred" Reason; sisters, Dolores Bordelon & Ethel Sellers; brothers, Stanley Brouillette & Jerry Brouillette.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Brou (Louie) of Mansura, Paula McKay (Emile) of Hamburg, Karen Guillory (Gary) of Alexandria, Rhonda Kimball (Charles Raborn) of Hessmer; son, Brent Reason (Yalonda) of Moreauville; sisters, Beatrice Dupont of Baton Rouge, Armeade Meyers of New Roads; brother, Gene Brouillette of Cottonport. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Penny Watson, Casey Walker, Cory Lemoine, Shane Lemoine, Kelly Rabalais, Jessica Reason Blanchard, Brandon Kimball; fourteen great-grandchildren: Joshua Stelly Mackenzie Stelly, Zachary Lemoine, Carson Lemoine, Abby Blanchard, Lawrence Hollins, Madison Stelly, Hudson Lemoine, Jordan Lemoine, Devery Blanchard, Cameron Kimball, Harlee Daigrepont, Hailey Daigrepont, & Baby Carter Kimball.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Gary Guillory, Louie Brou, Eric Blanchard, Cory Lemoine, Shane Lemoine, & Brandon Kimball and cross bearer will be Kevin Walker.
