Rouman Lachney

Funeral services for Rouman Lachney of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Monday, June 9, 2014 beginning at 12:00pm with Fr. Keith Ishmael officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville that morning from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Interment will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Mausoleum.
Rouman Lachney, age 92, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on June 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Wall parents, Adolph Odelia Veade Lachney and brother, Hamilton Lachney. He is survived by his wife, Elma Lachney of Plaucheville daughter, Linda Lacour of Bridge City, LA brother, Victor Lachney of Moreauville sister, Constance Lemoine of Pineville. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, twelve greatgrandchildren, seven greatgreatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
