Funeral services for Roy Joseph Neucer of Hessmer will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Friday, September 30, 2011, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Silverino Kwebuza officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 4:00pm until the time of service on Friday morning. Burial services will commence at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Cemetery.
Roy Neucere, age 72, passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Gloria Juneau Neucere of Hessmer daughters, Roxanna husband Craig Moreau, Sue husband Greg Burke, and Tina husband Danny Lachney all of Belledeau brothers, Morris Voohries of Bunkie, and Al Lemoine of Alexandria sister Rosemary Gladfellow of Pineville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
