Funeral services for Ruby Sampson Carmouche of Mansura will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, beginning at 10:30am. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Ruby Sampson Carmouche, age 75, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Felton Carmouche, Sr.; parents, Houston Irma Green Sampson; step-brother, Edward Joseph Carmouche; step-daughter, Rose Farrow; brother, Hubert Sampson; sister, Myresa Bennett; granddaughter, Gabrielle Reed. She is survived by her; sons, Bernard Carmouche of Cottonport, Albert Carmouche of Pontiac, MI, Loinel Carmouche of Mansura, Jimmy Carmouche of Bunkie; daughters, Irma Alexander of Mansura, Mary Carmouche of Tyler, TX, Ilene Carmouche of Mansura, Brenda Carmouche of Mansura,Michelle Rather of Hessmer; step-son, Felton Carmouche, Jr., of Houston, Gaston Carmouche of Mansura, Charles Carmouche of Lecompte; step-daughter, Theresa Turner of Dallas, Cecila Marie Berzot of Houston, Alice Holmes of Dallas, Dorothy Limbrick of Houston; sisters, Catherine Augustine of Jacksonville, FL, Dorothy Sampson of Alexandria; aunt, Corinne Augustine of Marksville. She is also survived by her 42 grandchildren 32 great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
