Ruby Rabalais

On June 1, 2010 Ruby S. Rabalais entered eternal rest at 11:44 pm at the age of 92. She was the devoted wife of the late Willard Rabalais. Those left to cherish her memories are Mitchel Rabalais and wife Dell Carol Rabalais Plauche and husband Gary Iris Rabalais Smith and husband Huey and Lois Rabalais wife of the late Gene Rabalais. She was a wonderful grandmother to her 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was a resident of the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home for the past 12 years, as well as a member of the Ladies Alter Society and the Blue Army and a devout Catholic. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all who touched her life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Wake services will be held on Wednesday June 2,2010 from 6:00 pm 10:00 pm and will reopen on June 3, 2010 at 8:00 am with funeral following at 11:00 am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville, LA.
