Funeral services for Rudy Lacombe, Sr. of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Rudy Lacombe, Sr., age 77, passed away at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home of Bunkie on Sunday, June 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamley Odelia Galland Lacombe sister, Mary Ellen Lacombe. He is survived by his wife, Joyce St. Romain Lacombe of Cottonport sons, Rudy Lacombe, Jr. wife Karen of Cottonport, Randy Lacombe wife Annette of Cottonport daughters, Karen husband Bobby Gisclair of Cottonport, Patty Scallan of Cottonport sisters, Jo Ann Goudeau of Pineville, Joyce Price of Pineville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers for the funeral service will include Brandon Gisclair, Joey Lacombe, Luke Bordelon, Micah Bordelon, John Lacour, Madison Bernard as the cross bearer.
