Russell Gagnard, Sr.

On March 17, 2014 Russell entered the loving arms of his Creator, God the Father, trusting Jesus with his eternal salvation. Russell was 76 years old and resided in Plaucheville, La. with his wife Linda for the last 17 years. Both were blessed with many loving friends and great memories living in that community. Mr. Gagnard was the founder of Cool Master Inc. in Kenner La. until his retirement in 1990. He loved to fish, hunt and work with his hands. Russell was funny and a pleasure to be with witnessed by a trail of friends with great memories of him. He was a former member of the La. National Guard and a current member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his son, Russell Suzanne Gagnard Jr, of New Orleans, La, sister, Earline Dauzat of Marksville, La., Grandchildren, Sara, Nicholas and Matthew Gagnard, He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Linda E. Landreneau Gagnard, his brother Elmo Gagnard and his parents Edwin and Emma Gagnard. Funeral Services for Mr. Russell J. Gagnard Sr. will be held on March 24, 2014 at 12pm in the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport, La. Visitation will be on March 24, 2014 starting at 9am till 11:30am in the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport, La.
