He and Virginia made year pilgrimages to Spain in Her honor. He brought his children up to be responsible, caring and God loving; attributes that they are passing on to their own children. "Rick, we are all sad because we feel you left us before your time, but God had other plans for one of his most devout children. We all know and believe that we will be reunited with you one day."
Ricky, also known as "ROCK", loved the outdoors and spent many days hunting with his son, two brothers, nephews, extended family and friends in the woods in Grassy Lake and Three Rivers Game Management Area, as well as the marshes of southwest Louisiana. He was a loving "big brother" who watched over his three younger siblings and helped guide them through "kid things" in life as a big brother should. Ricky made many friends throughout his life and was always considered to be dependable and someone who kept his word.
