Ruth Reech

Funeral services for Ruth Mary Laborde Reech of Bordelonville will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 beginning at 10am at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville with Fr. Shoury Ramji officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 9pm at the St. Peters Church Hall in Bordelonville. Burial will be held at the St. Peters Cemetery in Bordelonville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Ruth Reech, age 82, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Valley View Nursing Home. She liked to play the slots at the casino or play bourr with friends and family she also loved cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wickliffe Kiss Norma Normand Laborde her husband, Kenneth Paul Reech, her daughters, Katherine Reech and Renee Mayux.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randall Reech of Bordelonville and Rodney Sherry Reech of Bordelonville her daughter, Karen Allemand of Mansura her brothers, Elliot J. Laborde of Walker and Buevens Paul Laborde of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, and grandsoninlaw, John Harper.
