Funeral services for Sarada Jacob Johnson of Marksville will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 beginning at 11:00am at the First Congregational Baptist Church of Marksville with Reverend Michael Gonzales. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 8:00am at the church until time of service. Burial will take place at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
Sarada Johnson age 86, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mary Anderson Jacob, Sr. and 5 sisters and 1 brother. Those left to cherish her memories, four sons, Joseph Peanut Channel of Marksville, Alfred Channel of Marksville, Earl Channel of Bunkie and Louis Channel of Avon, IN two brothers, Wilbert Jacob of Marksville and Oliver Jacob of Los Angeles, CA. 15 grandchildren, 31 greatgrandchildren and 1 greatgreatgrandchild.
