Services for Mrs. Shelia Taylor Bordelon age 61, of Cottonport, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church, burial St. Peter Mausoleum, Bordelonville, under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura. She died on June 7, 2008, in Woods Memorial Hospital , Etowa, Tennessee. Mrs. Bordelon was a retired teacher, having taught at Cottonport High School and Bunkie High School. She was co-owner of Eddies Pharmacy in Cottonport. She was a graduate of Northeast University. Preceded in death by Father James Alton Taylor, Sr., and Mother Dorothy Taylor, Father-in-law Neldred Bordelon. Survivors are her husband, Eddie Bordelon, of Cottonport; daughter, Priscilla and husband Dwyane Saucier of Cottonport ; Sara and husband Cade Armand of Lafayette ; son, Pete and wife Bridget Bordelon of New Roads; Seth and wife LaShaun Bordelon of Lafayette; brothers, James Alton Taylor Jr., of West Monroe; Kevin Dupree of Farmerville; Tommy Dupree of Monroe; sisters, Barbara Sandifer of Monroe; Gail Sims of Monroe; Jani Rowton of Monroe; five grandchildren, Vanesse Mire, Jonathan Mire, Riley Bordelon, Taylor Bordelon, Gavin Bordelon; Mother Father-in-law Melba PT Cooper. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church Community Center, Cottonport from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The family requests that donations be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church building fund.
