Funeral services for Shirley Simon of Moreauville will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Brian Seiler officiating. A holy rosary will be recited before mass at 10:30am. Burial services will be held at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville.

Shirley Simon, age 78, passed away at the Rivière de Soleil Community Care Center on Sunday, August 25th, 2024. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Dwayne Simon of Moreauville and Jill Soldani (Marcus) of Moreauville; her siblings, Linda Desselle of Moreauville and Clyde Desselle of New Roads. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Sheli Simon, Mason Simon (Emily), Mariellen Simon, Cody Soldani, Katie Soldani, & Annagrace Simon; and great-grandchildren, Braxton Barnes, Grayson Barnes, Violet Soldani, and Ivey Soldani. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Barney Simon, Jr. and her parents, Marvin & Leona Thevenot Desselle.
