Shirrell Firmin

Funeral services for Shirrell Ann Firmin of Plaucheville will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 beginning at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home in Cottonport on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm Rosary 7pm and will continue Thursday morning at 7am. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Dupont. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Shirrell Ann Firmin, age 64, passed away at the Lafayette General Hospital on July 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Firmin, her brother Lee James Dubroc, and her parents, Aydron Avia Dubroc.
Those left to cherish her children, Renee Ray Scroggs Firmin of Mansura, Alexis Kyle McNeal of Brouillette, and Blain Firmin of Mississippi her sisters, Evelyn DeSoto and Barbara Dubroc her brothers, Norris Ducote and Evans Dubroc. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Brittany Hawkins, Brandon Hawkins, Amber Firmin, Austin Firmin, Gareth Scroggs, Brianne McNeal, and Ethan McNeal.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be: Gareth Scroggs, Ray Scroggs, Kyle McNeal, Blain Firmin, Brandon Hawkins, and Austin Firmin.
