Funeral services for Sims Joseph Tassin of Hessmer will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Friday, June 1, 2012, beginning at 12:00pm with Father Chad Partain officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church just prior to the funeral services, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
Sims Tassin, age 67, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen J. Maggie Mae Armand Tassin. He is survived by his wife, Sandra B. Tassin of Hessmer children, Chris Tassin of Jonesville, Diane Marie Sevin of St. Martinville stepchildren, Scott Setliff of Pennsylvania, Victoria Stephens of Norfolk, VA, Shanna Blanchard of Hessmer, Misty Blanchard of Hessmer, Jessica Blanchard, Todd Blanchard of Hessmer brothers, Freddie Tassin of Bunkie, Gerald Tassin of Bunkie sisters, Diane House of Cofeyville, AL, Linda Tassin of Bunkie. He is also survived by his seventeen grandchildren one greatgrandchild.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
