Funeral services for Stanley Paul Charrier, Sr. of Cottonport will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 beginning at 10am at the Fifthward Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at Escud Funeral Home in Mansura on Thursday, September 18, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume at 8am Friday. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Stanley Paul Charrier, Sr., age 64, passed away at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking. He was a member of the Fifthward Baptist Church. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Nora Gauthier Charrier daughter, Stacy Charrier brothers, Temis Charrier, Belton Charrier, Edward Charrier, Vernon Rachal.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Katherine Bordelon Charrier of Cottonport daughters, Tammy Manuel and Cathy Lacombe both of Belledeau sons, Stanley Bud Charrier, Jr. and Earl Patrick Descant both of Marksville sisters, Antoinnette Guidroz of Hessmer and Rita Dupuy of Pineville brother, Royston Charrier, Sr. of Hessmer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Brittany Manuel, Courtney Manuel, Miranda Villemarette, Ian Villemarette, Abigail Descant, Anna Descant, Emily Graham, and Carlin Charrier.
