Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Daigrepont of Gulfport, MS, formerly of New Orleans, LA and a native of Bordelonville, LA, will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 beginning at 10am at St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2013 beginning at 5pm until 9pm at St. Peters Church Hall in Bordelonville. Burial will be held in the St. Peters Cemetery in Bordelonville.
Mrs. Stella Daigrepont, age 85, passed away at the Lakeview Nursing Center in Gulfport, MS on Friday, May 3, 2013. Mrs. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Alven J. Daigrepont, son Brian Daigrepont, daughter Donna K. McEvoy, and her parents, Forest Harriet Barrere, Sr.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth J. Daigrepont of Houston, TX, Eldon James Daigrepont of Violet, LA, and Larry Jude Daigrepont of Metairie, LA two daughters, Paula Daigrepont of Lafayette, LA and Juanita Kreamer of Gulfport, MS. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren.
