Stephen Slocum

Funeral services for Stephen Poke Slocum of Cottonport will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport, beginning at 10:00am, with Fr. Raj officiating. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, beginning at 5:00pm and lasting until 10:00pm. A rosary will be cited on Tuesday evening at 6:00pm, and visitations will resume the following morning at 8:00am. Burial will take place after the funeral at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery 2. Stephen Poke Slocum, age 63, passed away at his home on November 1, 2009. He is preceded in death by his; parents, Ellis Doris Slocum. He is survived by his; wife, Eleanor Slocum of Cottonport; daughter, Robin Davis of Boyce; sister, Beryl Normand of Evergreen; brother, Lacy Slocum of Eunice; step-daughters, Angela Lakvold of Baton Rouge, Gina Neck of Lake Charles; step-sons, Brett Lemoine of Monroe, Shayne Lemoine of Cottonport, Garrett Lemoine of New Orleans. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren 9 step-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
