Steve Scallan

Funeral service for Mark “Steve” Scallan of Plaucheville will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Father Joseph Desimone officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Steve Scallan, 68, passed away at his home in Plaucheville on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Louise (English) Scallan; and a sister Virginia Brantley.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Christine (Bernard) Scallan of Plaucheville; son Chris Scallan “Moose” of Plaucheville; grandson, Jase Scallan of Plaucheville; sister, Liz Riche of Plaucheville; brothers, Jimmy Scallan of Butte Larose, and Kenneth and his wife Roxanne Scallan of Plaucheville.

Visitation will be held at Escude’ Funeral Home of Cottonport on Friday, January 13, 2023 beginning at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and from 8:00 am Saturday until 10:30 am.
