Steven Bordelon

Funeral services for Steven Bordelon of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, beginning at 11:00am, with Fr. Charles Morgan officiating. Visitations will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Monday, January 17, 2011, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
Steven Bordelon, age 86, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on Sunday, January 16, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Scully Virdie Firmin Bordelon. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Bordelon of Plaucheville daughters, Cynthia Mayeaux, Karen Lacombe, both of Plaucheville sons, Johnny Bordelon, Lynn Bordelon, both of Plaucheville brothers, John V Bordelon of Bunkie, Raymond Bordelon of Plaucheville, Philip Floyd Bordelon of Metairie, Winston Bordelon of Metairie, Ewell Bordelon of Metairie sisters, Jeanette Rabalais of Covington, Carol Ann Taylor of Plaucheville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve greatgrandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, seven stepgreatgrandchildren.
