Stravis Lachney

Funeral services for Stravis Lachney of Mansura will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 beginning at 11am at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will take place at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura on Sunday, July 12, 2015 beginning at 5 pm until 10 pm. Burial will be held at the St. Paul Mausoleum in Mansura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Stravis Lachney, age 86, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby and Harriet Ponthier Lachney; son, Keith Lachney; sister, Helen Cole and grandson, Donel Lachney.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gloria Lachney of Mansura; son, Roger Lachney of Hessmer; daughter, Melanie Maddox of Mansura; brother, Cecil Lachney of Kinder. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
