In Loving Memory of Sylvia Armand

Sylvia Armand, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 84. Sylvia was born on October 17, 1938, in Marksville, Louisiana, to her late parents Widdie, Sr. & Edna Daigrepont Bordelon. Sylvia, known for her warm smile and generous heart, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Armand, Sr.; sons, Daniel Burret, Jonathan Armand, and Bobby Armand, Jr.; granddaughter, Monique Armand; sisters, Audrey Bordelon, Mary Lee Martinez, Shirley St. Romain, and Diane St. Romain; brother, Dalton Bordelon.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted daughters, Tammy Normand (James) and Margaret Glowatsky; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Sylvia is also survived by her loving brothers, Wiley Bordelon, Gerald Bordelon, and Widdie "Doo" Bordelon, Jr., who shared a special bond of siblinghood with her.

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Sylvia's life, which will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 9:00am to 11:45am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. The graveside service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery #2 at 12:00pm with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating.

Sylvia's departure has left a void in our lives, but we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. May we remember her infectious laughter, her love for her family, and the countless memories we shared with her. Let us honor her by living our lives with the same kindness and grace that she embodied.

We will forever hold Sylvia's memory in our hearts, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.
