Memorial services for Sylvia Juneau Rachel will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 beginning at 11:30am at St. Paul Catholic church in Mansura, LA with Father Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 9:00am until 11:15am. Inurnment will follow at the St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Mansura.
Sylvia was a member of The St. Paul Ladies Altar Society, The American Legion. SHE LOVED TO DANCE, AND NOW SHE'S DANCING IN THE SKY!
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Sims Racel; parents Leon and Mathilda (Scallan) Juneau; brother, Lawrence Juneau; sister, Linda Shaw.
Survivors include, two sons; 2 grandchildren and 3great grandchildren, a sister, Bernadine Hathorn of Alexandria. She is also survived by a niece, Debra Newton of Alexandria and a nephew, Mark Juneau of Mandeville.
