In Loving Memory of Ted Dalgo Sr.

After the grocery store, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a school bus driver, dedicating his services to the community for over two decades. Ted's friendly smile and genuine care for his young passengers made him a beloved figure of the local schools in Avoyelles Parish.
Outside of work, Ted was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. He often shared his passion for the outdoors with his family, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the wonders of the world around us.
Upon his retirement, Ted devoted his time to his family and church. He was a devout Catholic and a cherished member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont. His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him in all that he did. Ted was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus #2142, tirelessly giving back to the community.
Ted is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dianne Firmin Dalgo, his daughter Shelly Hailey (Rick) of Pineville, his son Ted Dalgo Jr. (Belle) of Bordelonville. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Kalon Johnson, Kayla Tuma, Blake Hailey, Aislynn Poret, and Alayna Bordelon, as well as his ten great-grandchildren. In his retirement, Ted found immense joy in spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love and affection.
