Funeral services for Ted Mitchell, Sr. of Simmesport will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 beginning at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Father Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitation will take on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport beginning at 5pm until 10pmand will resume Wednesday morning at 8am. Interment will commence at Christ the King Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Ted Mitchell, Sr., age 66, of Simmesport passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Alrina Lemoine Mitchell Sr.; brother, Charles Mitchell, Jr.; sister, Lorraine Martin. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Patricia Mitchell of Simmesport; daughter, Angela Regira (Chad) of Gonzales; sons, Bradley Mitchell (Hope) of Watson, Ted Mitchell, Jr. (Tania) and Corey Mitchell (Traci) both of Prairieville; brother, James Mitchell of Baker; sister, Melanie Roy of Mansura and eleven grandchildren.
