Terrill Louis Gremillion

Terrill Louis Gremillion, age 64, passed away on September 16, 2024, at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Terrill will be remembered as a hard worker. He was knowledgeable in each job he was given. Terrill worked alongside Keith and Bryce for many years operating heavy equipment and farming. Terrill was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting deer, gardening, and tending to his chickens. He will also be remembered for his skill in cooking cracklins and knowledge of hog roasting, keeping the legacy of his daddy, Ball, alive. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Cody and Kallie Gremillion; mother Carmeleet Gremillion; siblings, Karen Lemoine (Samuel), Brian Gremillion, Cheryl Cook, Michelle Gremillion, Amy Gremillion (Bryan), and Russell Gremillion Jr. Survivors also include nieces and nephews: Lauren Bordelon, Melanie Laborde, Katie Lemoine, Bryce Taylor, Brittany Taylor, Olivia Gates, Lance Cook, Tracey Naquin, and Caiden Gremillion.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell “Ball” Gremillion; beloved and sweet sister, Joanne Taylor; and best and dearest friend and brother-in-law, Keith Taylor.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday, September 20, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Visitation will resume at 8:00am until 11:30am on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Funeral Mass for Terrill Louis Gremillion of Plaucheville will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Plaucheville.
