Funeral Mass for Tessie Armand of Cottonport will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Church of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Evergreen. Burial will be held the church cemetery.

Tessie Armand, age 86, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Becky) Matthews of Tickfaw, LA and Chris (Debbie) Matthews of Houston, TX; step-sons, Neil Armand of Cottonport and Kerry Armand of Cottonport; step-daughter, Lisa Gintz of Plaucheville; her brothers, Dale Juneau and Randolph Juneau; and caregivers, Jessica (Amos Odom) Jeansonne. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and  9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Matthews; second husband, Neilson Armand; her parents, Joe & Eliza Dauzat; her brother, Percy Dauzat.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 1:30pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport.
