Funeral services for Theodore Pierce, Sr. of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura on Monday, August 9, 2010, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura prior to the funeral service, beginning at 12:00pm. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Theodore Pierce, Sr., age 94, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Saturday, August 7, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Tassin Pierce parents, Theodore Lillian Castay Pierce. He is survived by his son, Theodore Pierce, Jr. of Woodlands, TX daughter, Sharon Pierce of Madisonville sisters, Hellen Pierce of New Orleans, Ruth McDonough of Metairie grandchildren, Theodore Lawrence Pierce III, Victoria Kelly Pierce.
