Funeral arrangements for Theresa Barbin, age 68 of Marksville, will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home from 8:00am to 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Theresa Barbin passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joseph Barbin; son, James Gill; parents, Joseph & Adine Ford Jones; sister, Virginia Barton; brothers, Frankie Pierite & Percy Pierite.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Caprice Jimison of Mesquite, TX and Hope Jones of Marksville; sons, Robert Gill of Pontiac, MI, Charles Barbin of Marksville, Patrick Barbin of Marksville, Jamie Barbin of Marksville, & Rarlin Barbin of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Louis Pierite of Pontiac, MI, James Jones of Sulphur Springs, TX, Michael Jones of Marksville, John Jones of Marksville, Gene Jones of Pontiac, MI, & Tommy Jones of Virginia. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren & three great-grandchildren; and her godchild, Anthony Augustine.
