Funeral services for Theresa Katherine Pierre of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 beginning at 11am at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 beginning at 8am until 11am at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura. Burial will be at the St. Pauls Cemetery in Mansura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Mansura.
Theresa Katherine Pierre, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband Murray Pierre parents, Martin Clara Sampson sisters, Carolyn James and Margorie Alexander brothers, Joseph Alex Sampson and Raymond Sampson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers John Sampson of Evergreen, Landry Paul Sampson of Marksville, and Gerard Sampson of Mansura her sisters, Mary Sampson of Mansura and Connie Murray of Mansura her halfbrothers, Donald Dobbins of Baton Rouge and Jeff Dobbins of Evergreen halfsister, Linda Dobbins of Evergreen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
