Funeral services for Theresa Scallan Schexnyder of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura on Monday, April 18, 2011, beginning at 10:30am, with Fr. Chad Partain officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Sunday, April 17, 2011, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and will resume Monday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
Theresa Schexnyder, age 74, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Schexnyder, Sr. parents, Turner Volcie Lacombe Scallan. She is survived by her daughter, Bridget Lemoine husband Tammy of Mansura sons, Louis Tony Schexnyder, Jr. wife Arlene of Mansura, Dean Schexnyder wife LaDonna of Baton Rouge sisters, Helen Sasser of Rayville, Mary Nell Goux of Mansura grandchildren, Sara Venable Scotty, Ross Schexnyder Kim, T.J. Schexnyder Casey. Taylor Schexnyder Desaree, Tessa Aymond Cody, Laken Lemoine and five greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will include: Ross Schexnyder, T.J. Schexnyder, Taylor Schexnyder, Scotty Venable, Cody Aymond, Tammy Lemoine, Ronald Tassin, Chris Sasser. Honorary Pallbearers for the service are Rene Goux John Sasser, Jr.
