Memorial visitation for Tina Marie Descant of Hessmer will begin at 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. The interment will be held on a future date.

Tina Marie Descant, age 58, passed away at her home in Hessmer on Monday, February 20, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Jeansonne, Jr. (Vanessa), Jonathan Jeansonne, Eric Jeansonne (Teri), & Angela Jeansonne; and sister, Priscilla Daigrepont. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bianca, Ian, Trey, Hailey, Maci, Naomi, Alyssa, Adlyn, Bellamy, Elizabeth, & Ava.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Earline Ducote Lemoine; father, Adonis Descant; stepfather, Ernest Lemoine; brother, Gervaise Descant; father of her children, Michael Jeansonne, Sr.
