Tommy Firmin

Tommy Jude Firmin, native of Plaucheville, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the age of 60. A Firefighter for East Baton Rouge Fire Department for 26 years, he is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Firmin three daughters and sonsinlaw, Kristie Firmin Sikes John of Zachary, Tammie Firmin LeBert Brad of Lake Charles, and Desiree Denning McCombs Mike of Sandford, NC one sister and brotherinlaw, Carol Firmin Couvillion Stephen four grandchildren, Ella Claire Sikes, Benjamin Michael Sikes, Savannah Maria McCombs, Liam Kevin LeBert. He is preceded in death by his parents, Huron and Winona Firmin. Tommy had a deep and special love for his grandchildren and was known for his incredible loyalty and protection of family. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and rebuilding antique motorcycles, but he really enjoyed spending his time at Disney World.
A memorial visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2:00pm until the memorial service at 3:00pm. Interment will be under the direction of Escud Funeral Home at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum on Saturday, March 24, 2012, beginning at 11:00am.
