Tristan Mills

Funeral services for Tristan Bubba Gabriel Mills of Mansura will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 beginning at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2014 beginning at 4pm until 11pm and the wake service will be held at 6pm. Visitation will continue the following morning at 8am. Interment will be held at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Tristan Bubba Gabriel Mills, age 18, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Marksville. He was a recent graduate of Avoyelles Public Charter School. He was in the National Honor Society, played on the basketball team at Avoyelles Public Charter School and was on the 2014 District Basketball Champs Team 30, and liked to play Ultimate Frisbee. He was called Millz by his friends. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and was in choir, served as an altar server, and was also a lector and he was in Junior High Beta Club. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Carolyn Mills of Mansura stepfather, Christopher Savoie of Mansura his father, Greg Joslin his brothers, Noah Barbre, Gregory Joslin II, Nathaniel Nate Joslin, Alexander AJ Joslin stepsisters, Shelbie Savoie, Paige Savoie, and Hanna Savoie uncle, Kevin Jenny Mills of Moreauville aunts: Becky Vince Wilkes of Hamburg, Juanita Ellis Michelle Bournstein of Woodworth, Rachel Graham of Alexandria, Gabrielle Kenny Juneau of Marksville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, David Wanda Graham of Hamburg, maternal grandparents, Dale Diane Mills of Churchpoint, stepgrandparents, Goozie Carol Savoie of Mansura maternal greatgrandmother, Evelyn Lemoine of Moreauville, and stepgreatgrandmother, Dorothy Graham of Hamburg stepaunts uncles, Kaleb Olivier, Amanda Stephen Herpin, Kristin Cory Bullard, and Nick Christine Olivier. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Truman Graham, Quinton Ellis, Kevin Mills, Wesley Wilkes, Kenny Juneau, and Vince Wilkes and crossbearer will be Noah Barbre. Readers will be Jacob Laviolette, Jordan Novo, and Josh Bertalotto.
