Troy Spiers

Funeral services for Troy Lee Spiers of Lettsworth will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Simmesport, beginning at 11:00am. Officiating over the funeral service will be James Winn. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, beginning at 4:00pm and will close at 10:00pm. Visitations will re-open the following morning at 8:00am and will last until time of the funeral. Burial will take place at the Gunnells Cemetery in Lettsworth. Troy Spiers, age 89, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 12, 2009. She is preceded in death by his parents; Robert L. Temple Phenie Ruston. She is survived by his daughters, Wanda Gunnells of Lettsworth, Linda Cadman of Plattenville, Nellene Beauvais of Mandeville, Geraldine Winslow of Kenner. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements and funeral services are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
