Truitt Brassette

Funeral services for Truitt Anthony Brassette of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura on Friday, June 8, 2012, beginning at 12:00pm with Fr. Chad Partain officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral service, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
Truitt Brassette, age 87, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Virby Jeansonne Brassette and a sister, Mary Scallan. He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Brassette of Mansura children, Jonathon Brassette, Duane Brassette, both of Lake Charles, Phyllis Brassette of Cottonport, Edith Brassette of Fayetteville, AR. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren fifteen greatgrandchildren.
