Tyrone Dufour

Funeral services for Tyrone T.H. Dufour of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, beginning at 11:00am. All night visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 5:00pm until time of the funeral on Wednesday. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
Tyrone Dufour, age 72, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. He served as a member of the United States Army for 2 years. He worked for Union Pacific for 17 years and served as Justice of the Peace for 12 years and Police Juror for 8 years, and also maintained a farm and work as a beekeeper. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Couvillion Dufour of Plaucheville children, Clint Dufour of Plaucheville, Robbin Dufour and wife Shirees of Lafayette, Karen Ricaud and husband Wayne of Longbridge, Darla Descant of Plaucheville, Janine Quebedeaux and husband Ryan of Mansura seven grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, two stepgrandchildren.
