Funeral services for Uben James Dubroc of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Friday, May 25, 2012, beginning at 10:30am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
James Dubroc, age 61, passed away at the Opelousas General Hospital on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. He is preceded in death by his son, Shelby Dubroc father, Uben Dubroc brother, Joseph Dubroc. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Michot Dubroc of Hessmer daughter, Tracey Ann Gremillion and husband Cliff of Angola mother, Selma Cooper Dubroc of Hessmer grandchildren, Chasity Blane Courville, Shelby Carter, Justin Gremillion greatgrandchildren, Morgan Alexis Courville sisters, Ann Normand and husband Kevin of Hessmer, Betty Mayeaux and husband Fred of Hessmer.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
