Uray Chenevert

Funeral services for Uray James Chenevert of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Friday, March 30, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Father Charles Morgan officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, March 29, 2012, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Mausoleum.
Uray Chenevert, age 80, passed away at the Marigold House of Alexandria on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Whim Lillian Saucier Chenevert. He is survived by his wife, Anita Lemoine Chenevert of Plaucheville son, Gary Phillip and wife Claire Chenevert of Plaucheville daughters, Sandra Chenevert Lemoine of Pineville, Janet Chenevert Cook of Alexandria sister, Jean Bordelon of Plaucheville and also six grandchildren five greatgrandchildren.
