Vera Bordelon

Funeral services for Vera Lee Bordelon of Moreauville will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 beginning at 11:00am at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville. Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:00am until 11:00am at St. Peters Catholic Church Hall of Bordelonville. Vera Lee Bordelon, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her home in Bordelonville. Mrs. Vera Lee was a proud home maker, during WWII, while the men of the USA were away at war, she worked for an airline company in New Orleans where she got the nickname, Vera the Riveter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Baldwin Bordelon Sr. son, Danny Ray Bordelon parents Emeric Janet Winnie Bordelon Janet. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Baldwin Bobby Bordelon Jr. and his wife Linda of Lake Charles, LA Granddaughters Tracey Cespiva and Tammy Devillier Great Granddaughters, MaLee Devillier, Alexandra Cespiva and Lauren Cespiva.
Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
